swadee ka!!
hello everyone this is my blog. I am going to be updating it sporadically with posts and pictures, keeping you all updated on what's going on with us. So far we have been here almost five weeks. We spent roughly a week in the following places, Bangkok, Koh Pangnan, Koh Samui, Koah Sok National Park and now we've been back in Bangkok for a little over a week.
We were just relaxing for the first couple of weeks, having a beach holiday, jet skiing, sunbathing and eating and drinking. In Koah Sok we experienced a bit of jungle living, Alan and Donna both had run ins with leeches, we saw snakes in the trees, macques, gibbons, chipmonks and puppies.
Now we're back in Bangkok and have been a bit more active this time 'round. We went to the shopping district which was a nice change from the backpacker strewn Khao Sarn Road, we went to see two films, The Break Up and Superman Returns (in 3d on an Imax screen). We also went to an aquarium in the basement of a shopping centre.
On Wednesday we went on a tour to the floating market which also included a snake show (for an extra 200 baht), the Bridge over the River Kwai, and a visit to the world famous Tiger Temple where we got our photos taken sitting right beside tigers. Rawr. That was a great experience but slightly nerve racking when the tigers appeared to be getting agitated. But I could have taken them. Rawr.
Today we are going to Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, the train leaves at 19:35 and we're getting in at 09:20. Should be a barrel of laughs after I was attacked by mini cockroaches on the last train.
Fill you in later. Hopefully I'll be able to upload some photos soon.

Nice blog Sheena. Sounds like there's lots of wildlife out there.
By the way, I'm still going through all the food you left in the apartment (I'm sure I'm right in giving you the credit rather than Alan...), so thanks for that. I'm enjoying the place, apart from the fact that the broadband isn't working.
